Last weekend I was trying to find fitting hat for my son and realised that he has grown out of most of them. Wow, I thought. Children sure grow fast. But then again, it has been a while since I have made any hats. So, without any further plan, I decided to sew few quick and easy hats to keep the little man warm.
I have kept all his old shirts and onesies that are too small for him and have not been given away to friends. From that pile, a cute hedgehog shirt transformed into practical jersey hat with dark brown lining. It became very cute and most of all, it is all recycled. I like!
I also printed retrobugs into white bambu knit, which became another similar hat. I added orange lining and straps to give the hat some colour. I love the colour combination in this hat. Just adorable! What do you think?
